A system that looks clean but requires removing a fence panel every time a battery is replaced is poorly planned.

Before installation begins, decide what information the owner will receive at completion: model numbers, manuals, remote programming instructions, access codes, maintenance guidance and warranty contacts. This prevents the system from becoming undocumented the moment the installer leaves.
